PROJECT
Rockville is America’s largest rock festival held annually at the Daytona International Speedway and showcases a diverse lineup of rock and metal bands, drawing fans from all over the globe. A new logo was needed to help differentiate the festival's identity from its competitors while being energetic and connecting with its fans.

Apparel design
After research, sketching, and brainstorming, a Blackletter font was used to evoke a sense of tradition and anarchy, which would resonate with the music genre's often complex and dark aesthetic. Abstract flags were created using the foot of the "R" and combined symbols of the Daytona logo flags, music notes, and tattoos.
Using the logo flags as a graphic element created extra energy on digital and print marketing materials. A custom website page was designed with a clear call-to-action, social media icons, and typographic hierarchy.
Tee shirts served as both a canvas for artistic expression and a tangible memory for festival-goers, encapsulating the spirit and identity of the event. Branded apparel enabled attendees to carry a piece of the festival experience with them and would foster a sense of community among fans long after the final notes faded.
